I like to learn new things so I've been spending my time learning in the tech realm as well as outside of it. The incredible thing about learning across different areas is that they all end up weaving together, and what you learn in one area can translate into a useful skill in another.
For example becoming a sewist has made me a better engineer in that sewing is 99.9% prep work and 0.1% of actual sewing. Engineering is really 99.9% prep work so the actual 0.1% of coding is a breeze.

The Hardcover.app GraphQL API is being utilized to retrieve my Currently Reading and Recently Read books through the usage of Netlify Functions (Serverless Functions). This ensures instantaneous synchronization between my portfolio and the hardcover.app in real time.
Cypress was used for testing functionality and ensuring correct styling was applied.
